Northampton, UK (19 May 2022) – Cadman Sporting, a dedicated sports shooting brand, has announced its acquisition of Skipton Gunroom. The acquisition is the 5th gun shop in the Cadman Sporting business.
Skipton Gunroom is the latest business to come under Cadman Sporting’s ownership as it continues its expansion, increasing its reach into Northern England. Skipton Gunroom is a well respected and established business in North Yorkshire that has been running for the last 11 years. It is ideally situated to service the shooting market and country estates throughout the Yorkshire Dales and Moors.
The latest purchase follows the acquisition of three similar gun shops. Northampton Gun and Rugby Gun were acquired in 2019 while Whittlesey gun was acquired in 2021. Cadman Sporting also acquired Warwickshire-based sports shooting ground, Barby Sporting in November 2019 where it subsequently opened a new gun shop.
