Cadman Capital Group, a leading privately owned independent private equity firm, has appointed Jorge Fortunato as the new Investment Portfolio Manager for the Group and its affiliate companies.
Jorge joins Cadman from the venture capital firm AquaSpark, where he served as Investment Manager. In this capacity, he executed a diverse range of investments in the aquaculture space and actively engaged in portfolio management, improving governance practices and driving value-creation initiatives to the portfolio. His hands-on involvement in investing and assisting portfolio companies makes him an excellent fit to the investment team.
Jorge started his career at Goldman Sachs, later joining Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking division as an investment banking analyst focused on the execution of M&A and Structuring deals in the food and beverage sector. His background also counts with relevant operating experience with spells in Kraft Heinz and Refresco.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is graduated from the Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo. FGV- EAESP.
